Sean Tyas
Sean Tyas is a DJ and electronic music producer. Commercially, he has remixed artists such as Christina Aguilera, Pink, and Moby, but has proceeded to become one of the Trance music 'elite', associated with artists such as Armin Van Buuren, John Askew and John O'Callaghan amongst countless others. His performaces have been seen globally; from Australia and America to Indonesia and Ireland. Originally he is from New York, but currently lives in St. Gallen, Switzerland, where he met his wife, Mirella Tyas (a Swiss native), who was the subject of the title track of Tyas's 2006 release on Afterglow Recordings, the "Mirella EP"
Sean has released work under several major record labels, including Armin Van Buuren's A State of Trance (under his "Logistic" pseudonym), and Discover, part of the Recover World group of record labels, for whom John Askew acts as A&R.
Various high-profile Trance DJs have commented on the exceptional quality of Sean's production work. “Sean Tyas has to be the hottest trance producer around at the moment” – Armin van Buuren. He has also been featured in both Mixmag (February 2007) and DJ Magazine (January 2007) in prospective future star full-page spreads.
Residency In 2008, Tyas became the quarterly resident DJ for Sheffield (UK) trance night Off The Rails.
