With ‘Spinning’ whipping up a good, old-fashioned sound-storm club-side, I’ve turned my attention to the next single to be taken from ‘Again’. ‘Time & Tide’ is the one stepping up to the slot, and I’ve handed the remix controls over to Gareth Emery. Armin premiered Gaz’s rework on ASOT 377, which was quickly followed by Ferry on Corsten’s Countdown (you can get a sneak-listen to the former here). The single is forthcoming through Maelstrom and World Club Music and it will also feature on the ‘Again Remixed’; both of which are forthcoming in the New Year.
Sticking with all things AVB, and off that back of the man’s killer third album, I’m going to remix ‘Rain’. I’m over the moon to be asked, but doubly so as its one of my favourites from ‘Imagine’. I’m giving it the ‘Megadrive’ treatment this month and it will be released early in ’09. I should have full info on the release in the first news-cast of the New Year!
It’s all your chances to have your annual word on what the musical highs of 2008 were.
